2016 ADA Tour de Cure – September 24, 2016 in Parker

Hello All My Beautiful People-

I just signed up to participate in the American Diabetes Association’s Tour de Cure. I’d like to invite you to support me in my efforts by registering to ride with me or by making a donation. It’s the PERFECT year to get involved since the Tour de Cure is celebrating its 25th Anniversary!

The team code, EYECYCLE (all caps, no spaces) is good for FREE registration until June 2nd. So register Now!!

Chances are you also know someone who has been affected by diabetes and you already know how important it is to stop this disease.

By supporting us or registering to ride, you will help the American Diabetes Association provide community-based education programs, protect the rights of people with diabetes and fund critical research for a cure.

The power we have together far outweighs what I can do alone. Please join me in this great cause—it would mean so much!

Thank you!
Jill

Tour de Cure Colorado -August 15, 2015

Why we ride in the Tour de Cure Colorado…
Eyecycle rides because we are proud to do our part to Stop Diabetes! Eyecycle has been a part of the Tour de Cure Colorado for the past three years and we are excited to take on our fourth year riding to Stop Diabetes right here in Colorado. We initially decided to team up to change the future and make a positive impact in the lives of those who are affected by diabetes.

We are motivated to ride because our team members understand the link between diabetes and visual impairment. We are committed to ride and raise money in this inspirational event not because 29 million people in the United States have diabetes, but because we personally know some of them, and want to do something about it!

You can register to ride with us on August 15th at the Boulder County Fairgrounds in Longmont, Colorado! Just visit our Team Page and select “Join This Team” on the right side of the page. We are proud of all that our team members have accomplished. Most of our team members are blind and visually impaired and ride the 100K Route behind a volunteer captain who leads the way. In 2014, one of our team members even completed the 100 mile route!

If you can’t join us on August 15th, please consider supporting us!

By making a donation or joining our team, you will be helping the Association provide community-based education programs, protect the rights of people with diabetes and fund critical research for a cure.

As a team, united in our desire to Stop Diabetes, we are asking for your support. Please make a donation to one of our team members or become one of us by joining our team. When we bring together dedicated team members and kind donors, the power we have as a group far outweighs what any of us could do alone.

We are determined to reach our team goal, one rider at a time. So let’s get in gear and ride to Stop Diabetes!

Pedal for Parkinsons Ride – June 13, 2015
This ride is a fund raiser to benefit people with Parkinsons.  There are three options for distance:  Eleven miles, a metric century and a full century.  All routes will begin at Sweet Water Park in Lone Tree.  If you are interested in joining us for this ride, please contact Sue Shusterman as soon as possible so we can coordinate captains and transportation.   If you are aspiring to do the metric or full century, now is the time to find a captain and start scheduling some training rides together.

Pancake Ride – June 8, 2014

Pancakes and riding bikes? Is that even legal?
Eyecycle is 20 years old this year! Happy Birthday to Us! In celebration of this event we are bringing back a classic ride.  Throughout the years Randie Polidori has organized a pancake breakfast ride. For the past few years we have been without this indulgent ride. We are so  excited to bring it back to celebrate our 20th anniversary!
